Google begins opening access to its ChatGPT competitor Bard

Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc began the official launch of its chatbot Bard on March 21.

The launch is an important step for Alphabet Inc as it seeks to expand its presence in the AI space.

Beginning in the United States and the United Kingdom, users can join a waitlist for English-language availability to Bard.

Google defines Bard as a collaborative project or experiments with generative AI.

Bard additionally had a feature that displayed three distinct versions.

Bard is designed so that users can easily visit Search to check its responses or explore sources across the web.

According to Google, Bard is not capable of producing computer code, unlike ChatGPT.

Google is not currently utilizing Bard for marketing.
