Whether one likes it or not, technology in educational settings is likely to stay, and it keeps getting better. In 2022, ChatGPT was released to the general public by OpenAI, a firm that does research and development in the field of artificial intelligence.

Anybody with a gadget and internet connectivity can use ChatGPT for free, thereby rendering it widely accessible, especially for students most of which are online these days.

An artificial intelligence (AI) computer program called ChatGPT uses its intelligence to interpret and emulate natural human language in the responses it generates.

Twitter Clashes With Brazil Over School Violence Posts

Twitter is under fire in the biggest economy in Latin America for its lax stance on material that is thought to incite violence in schools.

Brazil accuses Twitter of allowing posts that encourage violence in schools. Authorities this week started over 500 requests to remove content and profiles that were initially rejected by Twitter, which has advocated a free-speech attitude since its acquisition by billionaire Elon Musk last year.

Due to the controversial attitude, an executive order was issued late on Wednesday that warns Twitter and other websites of fines or even a possible ban if they don’t comply. cracking down on social networking sites carrying posts celebrating the attacks after a startling rise in homicides in educational facilities across Brazil.

The Justice Ministry’s push comes as the country is still in shock following the murder of four children this month at a creche in the southern state of Santa Catarina, which was committed by a man brandishing a hatchet.

Local media stated that Twitter has started removing some of the content highlighted by the Ministry of Justice as a result of pressure from Brazilian authorities.

The dispute started when a judge directed Twitter to take down tweets about a police operation at a school that resulted in the deaths of two children. The judge alleged that the posts broke the nation’s rules prohibiting the spread of violent information.

Following Musk’s takeover, Twitter’s legal policy team, which censors content in response to governmental and legal requests and evaluates law enforcement requests for user data, suffered from “massive cuts”. Since then, other members of the policy team have left on their own volitionally, leaving fewer individuals with the time or knowledge to handle requests from the government.

According to information from the Ministry of Finance in Taiwan, the country which is a worldwide hub for silicon manufacturing innovations, witnessed a 42.6 percent increase in its chipmaking equipment exports to the US in March compared to the same month last year, setting an all-time high record of 71.3 million USD (RM314.01 million). However, trade in China went down 33.7 percent, marking the tenth consecutive month of a downward spiral.

Taiwan is a key factor in the worldwide supply chain and residence of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) as well as numerous additional key players in the chip industry.

For whatever reason, OpenAI’s ChatGPT continues to stay in the news, but a new artificial intelligence chatbot is quickly rising to fame with its threat to “destroy humanity.” Based on OpenAI’s most recent language model, GPT-4, ChaosGPT is an altered version of Auto-GPT.

According to reports, the AI chatbot is doing further study on nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass devastation with the aim of establishing global dominance.

According to a New York Post report, ChaosGPT has already started researching nuclear weapons and acting out the part of Thanos. It has also enlisted the aid of other AI bots.

This harmful AI platform has its roots in an account on Twitter that first appeared and went by the name ChaosGPT. The account has disseminated numerous links to a channel on YouTube where the manifesto of the chatbot is demonstrated.

ChaosGPT published footage of user interactions where it cautions the user about the risks of “Continuous mode” on its YouTube channel. The warning stated, “Continuous mode is not recommended. It is potentially dangerous and may cause your AI to run forever or carry out actions you would not usually authorize. Use at your own risk.”

The AI chatbot is now striving towards five main goals: eradicating humanity; seizing world dominion; wreaking havoc and ruin; manipulating humanity; and achieving immortality. The chats this new chatbot has about nuclear weapons or other forms of destruction are more concerning.

ChaosGPT even made threats to use the Tsar Bomba, which it referred to as the most potent nuclear weapon ever made. Even ChaosGPT made comments regarding the psychological gullibility of the general public. It tweeted, “The masses are easily swayed. Those who lack conviction are the most vulnerable to manipulation.”

Elon Musk, Andrew Yang, and other AI specialists have already cautioned about the possible dangers of such AI-created platforms, but another group of experts maintains that the ChatGPT-like AI technology is incapable of harboring any goals. The technology-driven platform essentially uses a big pool of available data to respond to human inputs.

AutoGPT, which became available to developers via the protocols of OpenAI, was forked into ChaosGPT. With the ability to be trained on a huge corpus of data, AutoGPT can generate text in response to a given prompt.

South Korea fines Google $32 million for squeezing out rival

KFTC (The Korea Fair Trade Commission) stated that Google on Tuesday, by involving video game developers to entirely unveil their titles on Google Play in return for offering in-app publicity around June 2016 and April 2018, increased its dominant market position and harmed the localized app market One Store’s earnings and worth as a platform.
