Asus ROG Phone 5s And ROG Phone 5s Pro Released With A Snapdragon 888+ SoC And 6000 mAh Battery.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s Series has just been unveiled by the company’s representatives. The ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro are the two models of the new gaming smartphones. Both feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, which supports 5G. The smartphones have a Samsung AMOLED E4 display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200 nits maximum brightness. Asus’ new ROG Phone 5s comes with as much as 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM, even as the ROG Phone 5s Pro is constrained to 18GB of RAM.
Asus’s latest gaming smartphones are currently only available on the company’s official website. ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro prices and availability are still unknown. There is a lot of similar features between the two smartphones. Just a ROG Vision rear matrix color display and the additional touch sensors on the back panel distinguishes the ROG Phone 5s Pro from the rest.
Specifications of the Asus ROG Phone 5s And ROG Phone 5s Pro
Each of these smartphones is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and Adreno 660 GPU, making them both excellent gaming smartphones. As for the latter, it is only available with 18GB LPDDR5 RAM configurations, while the former offers 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 18GB RAM configurations. There are three UFS 3.1 storage options for the ROG Phone 5s, including 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro has only 512GB of storage. ROG UI is a skin on top of Android 11.
With Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, the Asus gaming smartphones come with a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E4 display with full-HD+ (1,080×2,448 pixels). A 144Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200 nits of peak brightness round out the list of features on this device.
There’s a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor on the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro. 24-megapixel primary sensor for self-portraits and video calls They both have a 6,000mAh battery and 65W fast charging. They are also equipped with front stereo speakers that have two speakers.
As for connectivity, there are dual-SIM 4G and 5G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 n, Bluetooth v5.2, and NFC as well as GPS and GLONASS, as well as a USB Type-C port for charging. An In-display fingerprint sensor, face recognition technology, an accelerometer, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor as well as ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 5 and grip press are all included in the ROG Phone 5s/Pro.

Price and Availability
The Asus ROG Phone 5s starts at TWD 29,990 (approximately Rs 80,000) for the base model with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The second model, with 18GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, costs TWD 33,990. (more or less Rs 90,000). Phantom Black and Aurora White are available as options. TWD 37,990 (approximately Rs 1,00,000) gets you the ROG Phone 5s Pro with only 18GB RAM and 512GB of storage, and it’s only available in Phantom Black.
