Fitbit Charge 5 Fitness Band With Always-On Display And ECG App Launched: India Price Announced.

With a sleeker design and a brighter display than its predecessor, Fitbit Charge 5 has been unveiled worldwide. According to Fitbit, the Fitbit Charge 5 is 10 percent thinner than the Fitbit Charge 4, but it still has 7-day battery life. The band’s heart rate, sleep, and activity calculates your daily “readiness” for a workout and suggests what you should be doing on a given day. Depending on the score, it may suggest light yoga, high-intensity workouts, or even rest. An ECG app and an EDA sensor for stress tracking are also included in the Fitbit Charge 5.

A combination of aluminum, glass, and resin make up the Fitbit Charge 5’s housing, and it comes with a silicone band. Stainless steel rails on the sides serve as ECG app and EDA sensor sensors. An AMOLED touchscreen display with 450 nits of peak brightness, and Always-On mode, and no buttons are included in the wearable. It’s claimed that the Fitbit Charge 5 is 10 percent thinner than the Charge 4 and boasts a 2x brighter screen.
NFC, GPS, SpO2, skin temperature sensor, and optical heart rate monitor are among the fitness tracker features that come with 20 different watch faces. For Android users only, the Fitbit Charge 5 can relay email and call notifications, as well as quick replies (in select markets). With Google Fast Pair for Android, it connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
There is a Daily Readiness Score that is only available to Fitbit Premium users. It tells you whether or not you should focus on recovery or do a hard workout on any given day. After each assessment, the ECG app will generate a PDF report that users can share with their doctors to check for atrial fibrillation. Aside from that, Charge 5 will also send notifications to the wearer’s wrist when the heart rate is above or below the desired threshold. In addition, it provides information on breathing rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, menstrual cycle, and blood oxygen saturation, among other parameters (SpO2).
Fitness enthusiasts can access video workouts from brands such as Daily Burn, Aaptiv, Popsugar, and more with the Fitbit Premium subscription that comes with the device. Over 300 mindfulness sessions by Deepak Chopra, Croix, Breethe, and others are also available. Additionally, Fitbit and Calm have teamed up to offer Fitbit users 30 pieces of new content.
