Apple Event 2022: iPhone 14 Series, Watch 8 & Airpods Launched.
Tim Cook, chief executive officer, Apple, directed and led the technology giant’s annual major event “far Out” on Wednesday. The event went on for almost two hours with high-end product launches introduced by the tech honcho which also includes the brand-new iPhone 14 series.
This latest iPhone series includes iPhone, iPhone Plus, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Pro max versions. The iPhone users had been eagerly waiting for the new smartphone series for the past year.
The company has launched various several brand-new features for the smartphone which comes with a larger camera display and offers satellite connectivity for providing emergency services. The Apple firm plans to provide satellite services which will be free for the first two years, beginning in November.
Apple’s most important product has been the iPhone so far which generates a revenue of about 50 % of the company’s sales by itself and also helps in achieving additional revenue by the use of services like the Apple App store and Apple TV+.
Price and Availability
iPhone 14 price starts at 79,900 INR and iPhone 14 Plus is available at Rs. 89,900. Pre-ordering for these phones starts on September 9. iPhone 14 will be available from 16 September and iPhone Plus from 7 October.
iPhone 14 Pro price starts from 1,29,900 INR and iPhone 14 Pro Max at 1,39,900 INR. You can pre-order both these phones from 9 September. They will be available from 16 September.
Apple Watch: Features and Price
Apart from this, the tech Giant has also launched its smartwatch series. The device known as Apple Watch 8, focuses on building better health for women by helping them to track their ovulation together with the temperature feature. The latest Apple Watch Series 8 has a similarity to the Apple watch series 7. It comes in Aluminium and Stainless-Steel material types priced at Rs. 45,999 in India. It sports a big Always-on display having a narrow border and is crack, dust, and water resistant. Apple Watch 8 features Crash detection.
The company is also unveiling a redesigned Apple Watch SE which is budget-friendly. Its cost starts from Rs. 29,900 only. It is available to order from 16th September 2022. It comes with a faster dual-core processor and a redesigned back case produced with less carbon emission over 80%. It is swim-proof and features a retina display and offers high and low heart rate notification, fall detection, cycle tracking, and crash detection.
It also brought out a new variant of the Apple Watch Ultra focused on athletes. That watch has a larger screen and a new button that provides the users quick physical control with a lot of other functions which include a titanium case, precision dual-frequency, 36 hours of battery life, edge impact protected design, and water and dust resistance. It is priced at Rs. 89,900.
The Apple Watch has also become an important part of Apple’s business gradually, covering a great portion of its wearables, accessories, and home segment. It generated about eight billion USD last quarter. The watch is connected with the iPhone which means the product helps to promote the product and push users to order newer smartphone models and Apple profits a great deal from this beyond just the cost of the smart watch’s hardware according to a report by Bloomberg.
AirPods Pro Gen-2: Features, Availability, and Price
