It is a cloud-based document editor platform based in Seattle, San Francisco. After a few months of establishment, Coda attracts several investors because of its unique approach and popularity in the market. Khosla Ventures, Greylock Partners, and General catalyst are top investors in Coda. In fact, the firm raised more than 60 million dollars in 2017. However, it launched the first software version 1.0 in 2019.

The founder of Coda, Mr. Shishir Mehrotra was part of the YouTube team. That time, YouTube just born out of the shell and soon people started using it for creating their videos. Early life

He was born in 1971 to an Orthodox Jewish family in Israel. In 1962, Abovitz family was shifted to Cleveland for his father’s work. From childhood, Rony was trained in video games and luckily he got the computer at the age of 8. Most of the time of Rony’s childhood was spent in Cleveland. However, the family again shifted to Florida in 1983.

 Education

He attended Nova High School in Florida for the primary education. At a young age, Rony decided to choose a career as a scientist. For that, he attended the University of Miami to study biomedical engineering. But Rony Abovitz actually worked in the field of virtual reality.

From childhood, Rony was interested in video games. The computer was s fascinating thing for him. His curiosity turned into an interest in the research field. After graduation, Rony set up Mako Surgical Corp that enabled the robotics surgical arm assistance platform.

Being a technology lover, and an entrepreneur, he was known to the fact that AI has been rising to shape the future of the digital industry. Last year the firm successfully raised about 261 million dollars from leading firms like lightspeed ventures. As well, Khosla Ventures, Greylock Partners, and IVP are investors in Rubrik. The mastermind behinds founding the company are Bipul Sinha, Arvind Nithrakashyap, Arvind Jain, and Soham Mazumdar. In 2015, they established Rubrik, which became a 1.3 billion dollar company shortly. However, just in four years, it raised 261 million dollars. Presently, it’s total valuation is 3.3 billion dollars with several records on its name.

It is the business venture of Bipul Sinha along with other masterminds that get started in 2015. Basically, known as a Cloud data management firm based in the U.S.A. The offices of the company are stated at more than five locations across the continents. Including, California, India, England, Ireland, etc.

The backstory of foundation

Bipul Sinha, co-founder of Rubrik was previously working at Oracle. He was an IIT graduate, tech lover,  and a person made for engineering. But it is said that there are no limits for innovation and passion. Similarly, despite being a highly paid employee, Bipul wasn’t satisfied. Sinha wanted to do more in this field, as a result, he became the business partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Soham Mazumdar

He was born on 1 April 1835 in Walsall. His father, Edward Holden was a well-reputed merchant in the business of hardware. James’ mother Elizabeth died when he was young. Thereafter, the relationship of father-son degraded resulting in enmity between them. In 1851, James’s father died and named the property to the stepmother and older brother of James.

Beginning of New life

After James’ father passed away, he decided to go to his mother’s home. Therefore, he flew to America, where he stayed at his mother’s sister. He spent some time there, learned new things, and again decided to go back to Australia. James Holden started living in South Australia, it was a newly formed colony at that time. During this period, more than half the population in South Australia was trying luck in goldfields.

Holden also tried luck in this field but he changed his focus on importing ironmongery with the help of his cousin Edwin Thomas Smith.

 Establishing J. A. Holden & Co

He set the business J. A. Holden & Co back in 1856. It was related to selling saddles, which are especially either locally made or imported. James also sells the saddles of his brother company. As well, he was the merchandise of whips and harness.

Evolutions in the business

In 1863, the company shifted to Gawler place. During this time, the policy of business expansion was somewhat changed. J. A. Holden & Co made a contract with the Overland Telegraph Line project. The contract was to supply carts other required components for 165 horses and 210 bullocks.

Thereafter, the firm became Holden and Briks as A. J. Briks became the partner in business.  This time, the firm owned the premised on Rundle street.

Partnership with Frost and Financial problems in James life

Later on, James became the partner with Frost who was in financial problems. In 1885, James sold J. A. Holden & Co to his son and the business partner Frost. The firm again renamed as Holden & Frost. In 1886 James declared insolvent. After this incident, he had to sell his property.

Personal life

During all this struggle, James decided to settle down with his landlady’s daughter in 1857. They buy a cottage in Beulah Park. Later on, they shifted at Magill. Because of financial problems and lots of up-downs in later life, James started drinking which complicated the situation of tuberculosis. The founder of J. A. Holden & Co. Died due to tuberculosis.

Holden in the Automotive industry

After the death of a partner, James’ son Henry purchased Frost’s equity and became the sole proprietor of the company. As well, after the death of father James holden, Henry decided to try luck in vehicle production. Initially, the company begins production unit for making car bodies for Chevrolet. In fact, Holden set the record and became the first Australian company to assemble bodies for Ford. The year 1924 was a golden year for the firm, it became the leading car bodies supplier in Australia.

Later success of the company

In 1948, Holden was a leading car supplier in Australia. During this time, it manufactured the first car in Australia, which is completely Australian. From the body to the engine, everything was produced in the country. It named FX 48-215. This model became the most successful in the history of Holden, giving the record-breaking sell.

Australian car company NOTA is known for its car varieties. From the Austin 7 based model to the V8 thumpers, all cars differ in style as well as in features. Also, the firm designed clubman style cars that were popular in Australia. The mastermind behind NOTA is Guy Buckingham. To follow his passion to dedicate life in the automotive industry, Guy has to pay a big price.  Yes, the path selected by Guy caused the disputes in family. But he was firm to achieve his chosen path in life. For that, he moved to Australia. He designed the first model of NOTA in 1952 called christened the Arnold.

Born Englishman was unaware of the fact that he is going to change the history of the automotive industry. Initially, Nota cars were limited to use in Australia. However, it explores its business very soon and crossed the boundaries of the Australian region.

Guy Buckingham established Nota in 1952. Initially, the firm was located in Oxford. However, due to some personal matters, Guy decided to move to Australia. Thus, the company also shifted to Australia in 1955.

He was Englishman by birth, born on 11 Feb 1921. During his teenage, he learned mechanical things at a very basic level as a part of family business training. Buckingham’s family had been working in the field of jewelry. As well, famous in the business of timepieces and clocks. Young Guy was trained to work in the family business. In fact, he worked for several years. During World War 2, he worked in Royal Air Force’s Aircraft maintenance. Guy had never thought that his life is gone changed after this incident.

Life-changing incident

An ordinary boy, working in the field of timepieces got noticed by RAF. The officials of RAF found extraordinary talent in Guy and sent him to study aeronautical engineering. After the war ended, he goes back home and joined the family business. But this time, it was completely new Guy, attracted to motoring. Now, he wanted to work in the mechanical field. Thus, he left the family business.

Steps into the Automobile industry

After the end of World War 2 and cars on short supply allowed him to involved in the business he wanted to. Grabbing the golden chance, Guy started to work in car construction during the late 1940s. In 1952, he designed the first car christened Arnold and made his mark in the automotive industry. During this period, he also designed Austin 7 based cars favoring the English style.

The backstory of founding NOTA

Guy had decided to work in the automotive industry. However, the family wanted him to join the family business. This contradiction resulted in inevitable friction in the family. During that period, Guy had crafted his first car model. But due to family clashes, he decided to located in Australia. Fortunately, his uncle was living in Australia, working at Jaguar and Rover as a specialist repairer. Through his uncle, Guy got a job easily in his field of interest.

He continued his passion and set up NOTA in 1955 in Australia. Actually, he had set up this firm at Oxford in 1953 but in 1955 the actual work gets started.

Tony worked at Lotus also he earned money at MAN. Divey saved this money to design a prototype of Triking. As said earlier, he designed the model and drove it on Lotus base at Hethel for the first time.

Early life

He was born on 28 October 1930 in Dartford. However, he was a different child not interested in school. During his school, he hardly attended the classes instead he searched for a job. For that, his teachers contacted his parents as he hadn’t appeared for a long time in school. His parents find out that Tony got a job at a cycle shop, therefore he was absent at school. Thus, he had been scolded by parents. However, Tony finds working more interesting than going to school.

Participating in Olympic

He was also interested in racing. In fact, he saddles to qualify in Olympics in 1948. Tony never left behind the interest throughout his life.

During his job and his race interest taught him many things about cars and bicycles. As well, he worked with Colin Chapman at Lotus Cars during this time. This experience and passion for designing helped him draft the design of the first Triking model.

The backstory of establishing Triking

The founder of the company, Tony Dave wanted to acquire Morgan. That time, Morgan is a famous sports car company, dominating the field on a global level. But due to some reason, he was unable to acquire it. Thus, he decided to set up his own firm named Triking Cyclecars Ltd. He built the first model of Triking back in the 1970s. Triking’s first model featured a steel space frame with alloy panels. As well, a glass-fiber bonnet was used and Moto Guzzi V-twin motorcycle engine was used to power the car.

As it was the unique combination of attractive design and engineering evolution. Public and the motoring press shared good reviews about the features of the Triking model. It received a positive response in the commercial market. Due to huge demand, the production of Triking had increased.

Triking is a Road-Going Sports Tourer

As popularity increased, the production begins in Norfolk. Initially, Triking focused on sports car competitions and participated in several sports events. The presence of the Triking model had been seen at every event including hill climbs, sprints, rallies, etc. Soon, it commenced as a successful road-going sports tourer. Later on, the models of Triking were modified to face the changing sports competitions.

Later life of Tony Divey

Due to illness Divey preferred to retire from the business. Tony formed a strong base of the company, delivered excellent models in his tenure. Later on, the business of the company is handover to Alan Layzell. He continues the production of Triking. In 2013, Tony Divey rest in peace due to a long time illness. Though he died, his name lives long with Triking.
