As per the reports, MATLAB’s first ten copies were bought by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for 500 USD. Further, MATLAB 2.0 version had retailed for 395 dollars. Many companies, however, reported it as a faster, powerful and easier to use. In 1991, the MATLAB 4.0 version release which featured color graphics and four dimensions of data graphs.

SIMULINK

MathWorks another best software is Simulink, earlier it was known as SIMULAB. This software is useful for studying as well as modeling dynamic systems. Basically, it was used for producing block diagrams of complicated circuits. However, its first version called the Simulink C Code Generator had retailed for 13000 USD.
