About The Company
In late 2013, two former Oppo employees founded OnePlus, a new smartphone company. Their goal was to create OnePlus phones that checked all the boxes for Android fans: great design, powerful specs, the fastest and most lightweight software, and a low price. With the launch of the OnePlus One in 2014, the dream became a reality.
OnePlus has grown from its humble beginnings as an online-only niche smartphone manufacturer to a global powerhouse since then. When you take a step back and realize it’s only been a little over eight years, it’s quite an accomplishment.
